After almost 30 years at exposing aspartame it is frustrating to see how journalists use propaganda to get you to believe. Here is a prime example in the article below of getting some facts but some misinformation. How do you know when you read an article on aspartame how much is propaganda and how much are actual facts.? Indeed it is exasperating to read articles by front groups, aspartame funded trade organizations or those paid by industry to deceive. In some cases even innocent writers just don't do their homework.

First they have to get your attention so with a title of "3 facts and Debunked Myths About Aspartame" like the article below, the first thing a reader might think "finally I'll find out what is true and what isn't!."

Now that they have you on their side they want to keep your attention, so in the first issue is they give you the real facts. In this case that aspartame makes you gain weight because it causes you to crave carbohydrates.

Now here comes the mislead. Can diet drinks cause cancer? The writer says "no". Consider aspartame is not mentioned but diet drinks like Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi and others contain aspartame, and aspartame causes cancer, and the fact has been well known since the beginning.

If you were a journalist and wanted to find out if aspartame causes cancer the first thing you would do is Google the studies and articles. I'll make this more personal and tell you what I would do and have done, I would type into Google "aspartame and cancer" and what I would get is 2,670,000 results. There you could read for weeks and find out information on studies that are independent and unbiased. With this much data you know you can find all your answers. Where there is smoke there is fire. In this case its a blazing conflagration. You find out that the Ramazzini Institute, one of the most renowned on the planet is a non-profit social cooperative that has dedicated more than two decades to fighting cancer and is independent. You find they have done three studies proving aspartame is a multipotential carcinogen and these studies have been peer reviewed by 7 world experts. You also find out that Dr. Soffritti received an award only given twice in history for his extraordinary and brilliant work on the subject of cancer.

The writer in this article does admit " There was a report of a slight increase in lymphoma and multiple myeloma in men. However, the results are weak." Notice the writer does not mention which study. So now you have a guessing game. The study is no doubt the Harvard one which did find that aspartame causes the blood cancers and others. They bragged their study was the strongest and the longest. A good way to show you how industry works is the Harvard Study. Once it was news about aspartame and cancer Harvard put out another statement saying it was weak science, we apologize for publishing. Now tell me how the strongest and longest that produced cancer is weak? I can answer my own question. Industry got to them. You have to remember the industry front group which supplies research funds is ILSI. When UPI did an 8 month study on aspartame, Dr. Richard Wurtman who was a tiger in Congress against aspartame reported he was threatened by the VP of the manufacturer that his research funds would be denied if he did studies on aspartame and seizures. They were.

Here is the UPI investigation for confirmation: http://www.mpwhi.com/upi_1987_aspartame_report.pdf Also, how can the science be weak on whether or not a product can cause lymphoma or multiple myeloma. It either does or doesn't and it will be confirmed by other studies which it does.

What questions remain on aspartame and cancer that a good journalist might entertain? I would immediately wonder "how did this product which is obviously a carcinogen get through the FDA?" Your investigation would show it didn't but was marketed through the political chicanery of Don Rumsfeld. Rumsfeld is retired now but he is making history as" Rumsfeld's Plague" circles the planet creating disability and death in its path from this killing machine. ("While Science Sleeps: A Sweetener Kills" by Dr. Woodrow Monte, http://www.mpwhi.com )

As Rumsfeld's plague ravages the public all the necessary information is recorded in the 1000 page medical text "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic" by the late world expert, H. J. Roberts, M.D.

If you're wondering about any sweetener also used in diet drinks like sucralose and acesulfame potassium they both are carcinogens. Dr. Morando Soffritti did a study on sucralose showing it to be a carcinogen. In original studies on acesulfame potassium they found cancer and leukemia just like in aspartame. So what was the position of the FDA on the approval of aspartame? First they tried to get them indicted for fraud but both US prosecuters hired on with the defense team and the statute of limitations expired. Then they set up a Board of Inquiry and revoked the petition for approval. Searle sued and Rumsfeld "called in his markers". President Reagan wrote an executive order preventing the FDA Commissioner from signing the revoked petition for approval into law and he was fired.

On August 1, 1985, FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross, told the Senate that at least one of Searle's studies has established beyond any reasonable doubt that aspartame is capable of inducing brain tumors in experimental animals and that this predisposition of it is of extremely high significance. In view of these indications that the cancer causing potential of aspartame is a matter that had been established way beyond any reasonable doubt, one can ask: What is the reason for the apparent refusal by the FDA to invoke for this food additive the so-called Delaney Amendment to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act?

The Delaney Amendment makes it illegal to allow any residue of cancer-causing chemicals in foods. Dr Gross concluded by asking, "Given the cancer-causing potential of aspartame, how would the FDA justify its position that it views a certain amount of aspartame as constituting an allowable daily intake or safe level of it? Is that position in effect not equivalent to setting a tolerance for this food additive and thus a violation of that law? And if the FDA itself elects to violate the law, who is left to protect the health of the public?" Congressional Record SID835:131 (8/1/85)

So you see aspartame is illegally on the market and the answer to the question of whether or not aspartame causes cancer is an emphatic yes!

The next thing discussed is diabetes. The writer says: "In a 2009 study in the journal Diabetes Care the authors of the study concluded that there is no causality between diet soda and diabetic or pre-diabetic conditions." http://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/32/4/688 A good journalist would first go to that study and see what it said. If a writer is misleading you do your homework and research everything quoted.

Here it what it really says: "In summary, daily diet soda consumption was associated with significantly greater risks of two metabolic syndrome components (incident high waist circumference and fasting glucose) and type 2 diabetes in this large, multi-ethnic cohort. These results corroborate findings from the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities and Framingham studies and show that stronger adverse associations exist between diet soda and type 2 diabetes. Diet soda consumption, either independently or in conjunction with other dietary and lifestyle behaviors, may lead to weight gain, impaired glucose control, and eventual diabetes." Read it for yourself.

Then you go back to Google and again over 2 million results on aspartame and diabetes and the first one I read had the facts: https://www.healthy-holistic-living.com/aspartame-and-diabetes They are quoting diabetic specialist and world expert on aspartame, the late Dr. H. J. Roberts who wrote the medical text, "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic", as mentioned above. As Dr. Roberts always said about aspartame: "It can not only precipitate diabetes but it simulates and aggravates diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy, destroys the optic nerve, causes diabetics to go into convulsions and interacts with insulin." That does it. The methanol causes them to lose limbs. Here is a study on aspartame and diabetes: http://www.mpwhi.com/2_diet_drinks_a_day_doubles_diabetes_risk.htm

So what is the conclusion of this article? Here it is: "Some of the studies indeed sound quite alarming. However, it requires more high-quality experimental studies before concluding the health effects of diet soda." So let me understand - the studies are alarming but before you believe them more studies are needed. Dave Barry, a comedy writer, once wrote, "I just want to put my head between my knees sometimes and weep". There have been alarming studies for almost 40 years but you can't make a decision now because you need more alarming studies. One of them by Dr. M. Alemany in Barcelona, the Trocho Study http://www.mpwhi.com/formaldehyde_from_aspartame.pdf even showed the formaldehyde from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA. It is listed in the medical text by Dr. Roberts under "pre-embalming". Consider the formaldehyde being released in the tissues, a Class A carcinogen. Consider original studies when aspartame caused brain tumors in rats. G. D. Searle simply excised the tumors and put the rats back in the study. When some died they simply resurrected them back on paper. I would call these studies alarming since aspartame breaks down to diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent.

Also about alarming studies consider the original studies on birth defects which showed aspartame caused neural tube defects, spina bifida and cleft palate. Why did you never hear about them? Could it be because they were too alarming for the public to see and find out if they used aspartame during pregnancy their babies could be born autistic or with some horrible neural tube defect? So it was the decision of the FDA and G. D. Searle that they be sealed. That way nobody will know aspartame causes birth defects. Today MIT says by 2025 one out of two babies born will be autistic, The information on these studies have now been added back to the Bressler Report where they were listed before the FDA sealed them. http://www.mpwhi.com/complete_bressler_report.pdf Here is the chapter on aspartame and autism from the medical text, "While Science Sleeps: A Sweetener Kills": https://rense.com/general96/asparautism.html This chapter goes into the deal between FDA and G. D. Searle to keep the public from knowing aspartame causes birth defects. Dr. Monte also explains his house was blown up with him in it.

Even though they mention diet drinks they basically are talking about aspartame in the drinks. Could there be even more alarming studies than the Trocho Study?

Consider the study on how Diet Coke could be destroying gut bacteria: https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/how-drinking-diet-coke-could-15230500 Then there is the study showing aspartame depletes neurotransmitters! The article on the study reports: "The American public, which consumes enormous quantities of aspartame, is increasingly identified as dumbed-down and full of fear, hatred and violence. Their brains are being altered by chemicals that turn humans into more animalistic organisms that lack higher cognitive function. As this study shows, aspartame may be contributing to the downfall of human civilization by altering the brains of human beings, turning them into cognitively impaired, chemically-altered organisms incapable of rational behavior." https://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/bombshell-study-shows-aspartame-depletes-neurotransmitters-in-the-brain-makes-brains-vulnerable-to-chemical-damage-from-food-and-vaccines/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=bombshell-study-shows-aspartame-depletes-neurotransmitters-in-the-brain-makes-brains-vulnerable-to-chemical-damage-from-food-and-vaccines

What are these alarming studies on aspartame telling you? Dr. James Bowen answered this question long ago in a letter to the FDA saying aspartame is mass poisoning. http://www.wnho.net/letter_to_senator_goyp_concerning_aspartame.htm Notice at the end of his letter to Senator Ortiz y Pino is his original letter to FDA over three decades ago!

"Aspartame Disease" also known as Rumsfeld's plague is indeed an ignored epidemic the world over and nobody seems to be inclined to do anything about it. Some FDA scientists said in 2009 they were broken, corrupt and whistle blowers feared reprisals for speaking out. Does this tell us we are in end times from one of the worst plagues humanity has seen where for over 30 years the people have been mass poisoned? Now being propelled in so many drugs people are sick everywhere because aspartame damages the mitochondria and interacts with drugs and vaccines.

Now read the article below and decide if we need more studies or explanations by aspartame front groups trying to convince you it's really not that bad. Remember how the writer ends her article: "Some of the studies indeed sound quite alarming. However, it requires more high-quality experimental studies before concluding the health effects of diet soda." In the article on depleted neurotransmitters it says: " It also reminds us that when it comes to food ingredients, humans are the lab rats who are routinely exposed to dangerous, toxic chemicals that have unknown long-term effects. But they're all "approved" by the FDA, often based on fraudulent science studies provided by the chemical manufacturers themselves."

Understand since aspartame was never proven safe as mentioned by one of the main investigators of aspartame at the FDA, Dr. Adrian Gross, the study was performed on the consumer public. Congressional hearings had to do with what was being seen in the population since its approval like seizures, drug interactions, birth defects and behavioral problems. No other studies are needed because the condition of the consumer public using this poison is the most alarming of all. Enough is enough.

My article about the study showing aspartame depletes neurotransmitters has just been published in "Health Freedom News" by the National Health Federation, a good organization to subscribe to as they keep you up-to-date on what is going on and fight to protect your health and supplements.

Remember a half truth is a whole lie. The title of the documentary on aspartame says it all: "Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n-gA0wvi84

This should be alarming enough to remove aspartame from the market place and prosecute those responsible for this massacre that has caused disability and death over so much of the planet.

Here are the facts briefly stated:
NutraSweet, It's the Devil's Treat
It's poured on everything you eat
Don't mind if you go blind
Or leave your brains behind!

If you like doctors, shots' n tests
And hospitals you love the best
And always want a list of ills
To give your friends the shakin' thrills

And if you pine to drink the thing
Of which the stars on TV sing
Who cares if you don't get much olda
Not Diet Coke or Pepsi Cola

Don't imagine that they'll tell you
Of the poisons that they sell you
Formaldehyde and formic acid
Forest lawn will be so placid

Yours is not to reason why
Yours is just to buy and die
You're just another consumer, Honey
Now get back in line and spend your money

3 Facts And Debunked Myths About Diet Soda

Feb 26, 2019 09:29 AM By Sarah Tejares

6 Ways Soda Is Damaging Your Body

Diet soda is a popular drink all over the world. Some people believe it can reduce their sugar or calorie intake, while others believe it can help them lose weight because it contains artificial sweeteners like aspartame, cyclamate, saccharin, acesulfame-k or sucralose in other words, its sweetness is not natural.

It has also been linked to different kinds of diseases, and there are studies supporting it. With numerous claims, it is difficult to spot the truth from notMyth: Diet soda is effective in weight loss. Truth: Diet soda can make people gain weight.

Since the name includes diet, most people think it could help them reduce weight. Sadly, it will not. This beverage is a mixture of carbonated water, artificial or natural sweetener, colors, flavors and other food additives. Brands have different recipes for their diet sodas. However, the common ingredients in diet soda include carbonated water, sweeteners, acid, colors, flavors, preservatives, vitamins and minerals, and caffeine.

According to Mic. when artificial sweeteners in soda, yogurt or others hit the brain, it automatically sends a signal to the pancreas to begin producing insulin a peptide hormone that tells the cells to either use sugar as food or store it as fat. Once the pancreas produces insulin to deal with anticipated sugar but there is no sugar will, it confuses the body and disrupts its metabolic process. This could be the reason why several studies have shown a link between regularly drinking diet soda and metabolic syndrome. It also conditions the taste bud for sweetness and makes people crave for more.

Myth: Diet soda can cause cancer. Truth: It has no links to cancer.

Most studies about artificial sweeteners and diet soda show no evidence that it causes cancer. There was a report of a slight increase in lymphoma and multiple myeloma in men. However, the results are weak.

Myth: Diet soda causes diabetes. Truth: There is no causality between diet soda and diabetic or pre-diabetic conditions.

In a 2009 study in the journal Diabetes Care the authors of the study concluded that there is no causality between diet soda and diabetic or pre-diabetic conditions. This means that diet soda does not cause weight-related conditions. The subject of the study, who was a person with diabetes consuming diet soda, was already overweight and was just trying to cut down calories with diet soda.

Some of the studies indeed sound quite alarming. However, it requires more high-quality experimental studies before concluding the health effects of diet soda.
